On May 3, 2025, Pro weightlifter Choi Hanjin shared some gym photos via his Instagram account (@ifbbpro_bigchoi) featuring BTS's Taehyung and Jungkook in one of them. The two BTS idols flexed their chiseled physiques and muscular builds in the new image from the gym. Currently, both BTS’ Taehyung and Jungkook are serving their respective terms in the South Korean military.
Fans of BTS' Taehyung and Jungkook were overjoyed after seeing them together. As a result, Taekook fans flooded social media with their admiration for the duo. One user on X commented:

Many other fan gave their mixed reactions to Taekook’s duo. While some described them as brave, sweet, and handsome boys, others said that the duo served with their looks:

Choi Hanjin, aka Big Choi, added a long caption in his recent post about Tae’s focus on his workout while serving in the military. He also noted that V was diligently taking care of his body:
“A calm yet firm energy, and in every single attitude he brings to the workout, you can feel his sincerity through his focus!! On top of that, his strength is great too!! Even while serving in the military, you could tell, just by looking at his body, how diligently he’s been taking care of himself, even without him saying a word,” Big Choi’s caption read.
On April 30, V shared another look at his chiseled physique via his Instagram story. The bracelet worn by the BTS idol quickly gained widespread attention online after his admirers saw it. V was wearing a Power Ionics crimson wristband.

In the wake of BTS member Taehyung's bracelet and narrative becoming viral, the Power Ionics Official Store on Shopee Malaysia allegedly rebranded the item as the "[BTS V Bracelet]," including a photo of the idol himself wearing it.
BTS' Taehyung will be discharged from the military in the next month. He enlisted in December 2023, like his other bandmates, namely Jimin, RM, and Jungkook. SUGA joined the military in September 2023.
