More about Taylor Swift's new album, as the singer reveals which song is Travis Kelce's favorite

Taylor Swift's new album, titled The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3, features twelve tracks, with Opalite emerging as the favorite song for both Travis Kelce and her father. During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the "Style" singer explained how the song serves as a metaphor for the trials she has endured. She said:

“My dad is very excited about Opalite, and it is Travis’s favorite. Growing opals in a lab is an interesting metaphor for making your own happiness; to rise above the trials and tribulations and be happy you did things on your terms.”

Taylor Swift, who appeared on the popular talk show on Thursday, October 2, alongside actress Greta Lee, Cillian Murphy, Jodie Turner Smith, Lewis Capaldi, and Domhnall Gleeson, also shared a rare insight into the way Travis Kelce proposed to her right after she appeared on his podcast. She said:

"He really crushed it in surprising me. While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in. He went all out – 10 out of 10.”

She further added that the proposal came at the perfect time in her life. She said:

"It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life."

During the interview, when asked about her upcoming wedding, Taylor Swift said:

"You’ll know. I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan.”

Taylor Swift, whose new album also includes a duet with Sabrina Carpenter on the track "Expresso," also revealed during her appearance on the Heart Breakfast show how Travis Kelce had thoughtfully designed her engagement ring over several months.
