“THE KINGS ARE BACK”: Netizens celebrate as BTS becomes first non-English Act with most simultaneous entries in Top 100 US iTunes Singles

BTS has reemerged in the limelight with their inaugural official live album. The record, titled PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE, was released on July 18, 2025. The album comprises 22 tracks, including live recordings from one of the group's most notable tours.

The latest live album comes after a long break since the members of the boy band left for their respective military training. The boy band has officially reunited in June this year.

Within 24 hours of its debut, all the 22 songs of the album made simultaneous entries in Top 100 US iTunes Singles and BTS became the first non-English act to achieve this with most entries at the same time.

Therefore, fans of BTS are overjoyed with their new album and also the milestone achieved by their just released album.

Fans of boy band flooded the internet with their adulation for them.

ARMYs praised BTS for their new feat

While many were stunned with how the group achieved this feat with the live album without any new release, others compared them to Kings.

“Doing this with a live album when they JUST got back from hiatus?,” a fan said.
“They’re coming back from their military service, no album, no singles, no shows, just being themselves with the songs and albums already released. Kings, right?,” wrote another admirer.

Some dubbed them as the biggest band in the world, others said that the industry isn’t ready for their comeback.

PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE features total 22 tracks

BIGHIT Music released the notification that captured the essence of the new live album. The description of the album shared on Weverse stated:

"The notable release captures the dynamic energy of their 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' tour, held across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas in 2021. Spanning 12 unforgettable shows that resonated through stadiums around the world, the album offers an immersive glimpse into BTS' electrifying global stage presence."

The description further stated that the new live album revives the precious memories of the band with its fans.

“Many songs were specially rearranged for the tour, adding fresh layers to their sound. Through the album, listeners can be reminded of the radiant memories shared between the members and ARMY.”
