Travis Scott recently followed a satire account on X. The account, called Wurrco, posted a joke that Scott would release Jackboys 2 the same day as Clipse’s new album, Let God Sort Em Out. Soon after that post, Scott followed the account. The move made many fans notice it. But it is not clear what it means.
At the same time, Pusha T from Clipse dropped a song called “So Be It” on June 17. In the final part of the song, he shared strong lines aimed at Travis Scott. The words spoke about loyalty and past actions. The timing of Scott’s follow began fan talk about whether he joined the hype around both albums. So far, Scott’s team has not said anything about it. No one knows if Jackboys 2 will come out on July 11, the same day as Clipse’s album. Travis Scott once hinted it could drop on his 34th birthday, April 30, but that did not happen.
What Pusha T said in “So Be It” that was supposedly aimed towards Travis Scott?
Pusha T released “So Be It” ahead of Clipse’s album Let God Sort Em Out, which is due on July 11. In the last verse, he shared lyrics directed at Travis Scott:
"You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/ Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me/ Her Utopia had moved right up the street / And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat."
These lines refer to Travis Scott’s album Utopia and his ex, Kylie Jenner, who is from Calabasas. Pusha said he even has a video that backs his words. In an interview with GQ, Pusha explained why he targeted Scott. He told a story from 2023 in Paris. Scott came to Pharrell Williams’ studio while Clipse was recording. Scott played his music but left out Drake’s verse on a song called “Meltdown.” Drake’s verse had lyrics that insulted Pharrell and Pusha. According to Pusha, this act of hiding content was a form of betrayal.
He said Travis Scott often tries to stay neutral in rap conflicts. Pusha pointed to songs like “Sicko Mode” and “Like That” where Scott acted in ways that gave mixed messages. He said this shows a lack of loyalty.
What comes next?
The feud has drawn a lot of attention. Pusha T is serious in his words. Some fans say he has a strong point about loyalty. Others ask: should Travis respond? Veteran rapper Bun B spoke about it. He said Scott will likely reply but warned that battling Pusha could harm Scott’s reputation. Pusha has a reputation for strong lyrical feuds.

On the other side, Travis Scott has not posted a reply yet. No new music or songs from him have dropped that address the feud. Fans keep watching Scott’s X account and Instagram for any new music or videos. They want to know if Jackboys 2 is real and when it will come. Scott teased it before. In late 2023, he said it was “for sure” in the works. In January 2025, one of his signees hinted at it, too. On April 30, Scott posted a short video that looked like a film trailer. He said it would honor his mom. But the album did not come out then.
Many think a film might come with Jackboys 2. The teaser shows VHS-style clips directed by Harmony Korine and music from artists on Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack label, like Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. But so far, no release date or film details have been confirmed.
