In the middle of Kali Uchis' American Airlines Center stop in Dallas for her Sincerely, Tour, the singer shared a message about immigration in the United States. She talked about immigrant communities and controversies regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Kali Uchis told her audience that "without immigrants, there is no America." She also addressed her family's immigrant background. Uchis played footage and photos of her relatives on screens and talked about the immigrant families, saying,

"In my house, everyone worked two or three jobs to pursue the American Dream. I was raised to believe we have to work harder than everyone else."
