Record producer Metro Boomin, whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne, took the stand against his s*xual assault allegations in a courtroom in Los Angeles on September 24.

The case goes back to 2016, when he met Vanessa LeMaistre, who accused him of s*xually assaulting her.

Vanessa said the incident happened in a hotel room, and Boomin did not even use protection. She claimed that the record producer spiked her drink, which caused her to black out.

According to Rolling Stone, he said that he was physically involved with the woman, and it was a consensual agreement. He ensured that they used protection. When his legal representative, Lawrence Hinkle, asked if he was falsely accused, Boomin said:

“Absolutely. I’ve been thinking about this day for a year.”

Metro Boomin added:

“I really don’t know where to start. This is crazy. I can’t even believe I’m up here doing this right now. For her to accuse me of something like this, it’s something I could never fathom. I can’t even say what I think should happen to people who r*pe people.”

He also mentioned that his mother died due to domestic violence and believes that the perpetrators of such acts should be brutally punished. Metro Boomin was repeatedly asked if he did what Vanessa LeMaistre claimed, and he said:

“Absolutely not. No way in the world.”

What was Vanessa LeMaistre’s testimony about the incident involving Metro Boomin?

On September 24, Vanessa took the stand. She said in 2016, she lost her newborn baby and was grieving the loss. She then met Metro Boomin at his studio, where he gave her a drink. She became unconscious and woke up to find herself in a hotel room, where she claimed Boomin s*xually assaulted her.

Later, when she gained her full consciousness, Boomin helped her get out of the room, and she said she was taken to the studio. Vanessa said:

“I was confused. It was very foggy for me waking up the next day.”

Her statement went on:

“Having lost my son, and the defendant assaulting me, have been the two, by far, worst things I’ve ever experienced in my life. It has been excruciatingly painful. This stole the past nine years of my life. I haven’t been able to have any healthy relationships. I want to get married one day.”

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin explained in court that he always used contraceptives because he wasn’t ready to be a father. He said that even with his high school girlfriend, they used protection, so there was no chance he would have had unprotected intercourse with someone he had just met in Las Vegas.

Rapper Young Thug was also present at the court. He told Rolling Stone that he was an old friend of Metro Boomin and was there to support him. It is reported that the concluding arguments in this case will be heard on September 25.
