Where will Machine Gun Kelly perform free pop-up shows for "Lost Americana"? Details explored

Machine Gun Kelly is officially hitting the road in 2025 for a run of free pop-up concerts to accompany his new album, Lost Americana.

The short series of shows has been officially dubbed the Lost XX Road Trip. It will see the musician performing in intimate venues such as music halls and dive bars. Each venue will hold a few hundred people.

These Machine Gun Kelly stops will be in select Midwest cities and one in Los Angeles. It is worth noting that exact venue details will be kept under wraps until the day of each show. Fans who sign up online will receive the exact details by email.

The pop-up show announcement follows Machine Gun Kelly's weekend-long MGK Day celebration in Cleveland, Ohio. It ran from August 8 to 10, 2025. Before that, he also did unannounced performances in New York City and Toronto earlier this week.

Machine Gun Kelly made an official Instagram post to announce his latest album, which read:

"Dedicating this album to our brother in the sky Dingo. It's the last piece of music he heard from us before he passed and he's been an honorary member of our band since day 1. Tonight's release isn't the same without a legendary christening from him but his spirit is all over the project. Get in your car this weekend, start driving and press play; it's time for lost americana."

Lost Americana was officially released on August 8, 2025. It is MGK's seventh studio album. The album includes contributions from drummer Travis Barker and keyboardist Jon Batiste. Notably, its rollout featured a narrated trailer by Bob Dylan.

"Starman" samples Third Eye Blind's Semi-Charmed Life, a song MGK says was part of his teenage soundtrack. The band's frontman, Stephan Jenkins, responded to the tribute and called MGK "uncontainable in the way people want to be."
