Foreigner is officially hitting the road this December to celebrate five decades of their music. The upcoming 'Foreigner 4 Deluxe' U.S. tour will see the original frontman, Lou Gramm, as he will be making select guest appearances. Moreover, new lead vocalist Luis Maldonado is set to take center stage for the first time in the U.S.
Constantine Maroulis will be opening each show of the 'Foreigner 4 Deluxe' U.S. tour. Maroulis is mainly known for his run on American Idol and a Tony-nominated performance in Broadway's Rock of Ages. He is expected to bring a rock set with original music and covers from Rock of Ages to warm up the stage each night.
The band took to their official Instagram page to announce the opening act, captioning:
"Join Constantine as he opens the Foreigner 4 Deluxe Tour, where the legendary rock band FOREIGNER will celebrate 50 years of music with a newly announced round of headlining U.S. tour dates."
The post continued:
"The Foreigner 4 Deluxe Tour promises to be a landmark moment in the band's history, bringing together past and present in an electrifying live experience. Original lead singer Lou Gramm will join the band for select songs, and Constantine will lend his dynamic vocals and theatrical energy to the show, with original songs and iconic hits from Rock of Ages."
The newly announced tour coincides with the release of the remastered and expanded edition of the band's beloved 1981 album 4, which featured hits like "Juke Box Hero," "Urgent," and "Waiting For A Girl Like You." The reissue drops September 12, 2025, via Rhino Records. It will be available in multiple formats, including vinyl, CD, Blu-ray, and digital.

Who is Constantine Maroulis?
Maroulis gained national attention as a finalist on American Idol before making a name on Broadway with a starring role in Rock of Ages. He was nominated for a Tony Award for the role. His set during the Foreigner tour will feature original songs and highlights from the musical that made him a Broadway star.
