Why is Arthur Hill upgrading venues for his 2026 Stella AusTour in Australia? Reason explained

London-based singer-songwriter Arthur Hill first announced his debut Australian tour earlier this year. Tickets for his January 2026 shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne reportedly sold out as quickly as they were released.

The leg was initially set for mid-sized venues such as Brisbane's The Triffid, Sydney's Factory Theatre, and Melbourne's Max Watts. However, following the "overwhelming demand" for tickets, promoters Secret Sounds have confirmed that the Stella AusTour will move to larger venues. Arthur Hill is now officially set to perform at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall, Sydney's Enmore Theatre, and Melbourne's Forum.

The decision to move to larger venues will allow more people to attend his shows. Notably, existing tickets will remain valid.

Arthur Hill took to his official Instagram page to announce the venue's upgrades, writing:

"Sooo, you guys actually sold out all the tickets before general sale even started sooo… we have upgraded the venues! Genuinely can't believe we are doing rooms this big on the other side of the world. I am so grateful. You lot never cease to amaze me! Tickets on sale today at 10 am AEDT (2/9) get em through the link in bio !"

Live Nation also issued an official press release to announce the upgrade:

"London-based singer songwriter Arthur Hill's Australian live debut; the Stella AusTour, will move to bigger venues in January to meet overwhelming demand! Arthur will kick off the new year bringing his dazzling, energetic live show to new venues, Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 14 January, Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Thursday 15 January and Melbourne’s Forum on Friday 16 January."
