Benson Boone's Birmingham fans will have to wait a little longer to hear "Beautiful Things" live. Just hours before showtime on Saturday, Nov. 1, the singer announced he was forced to cancel his concert due to throat issues.

The 23-year-old pop star was scheduled to serenade his fans at the Utilita in Birmingham, England, amid his American Heart World Tour. However, ahead of his performance, he took to Instagram Stories to share a heartfelt message with his fans.

“Birmingham I am so so sorry but I will not be able to perform tonight. I have tried everything I can to revive my throat, but I cannot give you the show I’d like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now.”

Benson Boone continued, promising to "make it up to you" once he recovers.

“I am working with my team to find a date to reschedule as soon as possible. This is genuinely the crappiest feeling, I am so sorry. I promise you I will do everything in my power to make it up to you. I’ll update you guys as soon as I can.”

Benson Boone apologizes to fans in person after canceling Birmingham concert: “It was such a terrible feeling”

Following the cancellation, the "Slow It Down" crooner still showed up at the venue to explain to his fans who were already there, waiting.

In a new TikTok video circulating across social media, Benson Boone is seen surrounded by his fans as he assures them of his return soon.

"Guys, I can't talk very loud. My voice is literally gone. I'm so sorry about today. It was such a terrible feeling."

A fan taking a video of him kept reassuring him that it was okay and that he shouldn't feel sorry about what happened. Still, the pop star tried to explain, alongside a promise of a special show.

"I tried to gauge my voice all day and I was singing a little bit. And now, really nothing in me. So, we will come back, and I will make the next show as special as I can make it."

Following an extended apology, Benson Boone also expressed his gratitude to his fans for understanding.

"But thank you so much. I promise you, I will be back as soon as I can."

Before he left, fans showered the singer with praise and gratitude, with one telling him:

"Thank you for coming out to us again, because you're still not well, so thank you. I've seen you last year, you were amazing."

The person talking also received a handshake from Benson Boone, while another got a warm embrace from the "Sugar Sweet" star.

Amid the chaos, a concerned fan called out for others to get the singer out of the cold, fearing his condition might worsen.
