BTS' Jimin has been in news for quite sometime now, particularly after completing his military service on June 11. In addition to these activities, the BTS idol also earned much acclaim for the success of his solo track WHO, as it exceeded 1.8 billion streams on Spotify. Jimin’s solo song came out among the compositions of his second solo album MUSE that released on July 19, 2024.

With this new mark, the idol’s song WHO is now the fastest Asian track in history to surpass 1.8 billion streams on Spotify. The solo song also turned out to be the sixth fastest song in history to reach this milestone, in just 343 days since its debut.

Fans of BTS' Jimin were astonished by the recent success of his solo endeavor. Consequently, his admirers flooded social media with their admiration and praise for the idol.

Fans excited as BTS' Jimin’s WHO surpasses 1.8 billion Spotify streams

While some fans said they liked Jimin’s song ever since it’s release in 2024, others claimed that the idol achieved these many streams with his new album.

“It's almost a year and i can't get over how good this song is congratulations jimin,” stated another admirer.
“He did it without 663 versions and microplaylists,” another fan commented.

Some claimed that BTS' Jimin’s moniker is synonymous with success and greatness, while others claimed that he achieved the latest mark without any promo or post on social media.

“CONGRATULATIONS JIMIN JIMIN JIMIN. WHO FASTEST ASIAN SONG. RECORD BREAKER JIMIN. ACE PARK JIMIN. THE GOAT PARK JIMIN,” wrote an admirer.
“With no promo and not even a social media post from jimin himself, the longevity is insane! CONGRATULATIONS JIMIN WHO FASTEST ASIAN SONG. RECORD BREAKER JIMIN,” stated an admirer.
“Fastest asian song overall is crazy, Jimin is always making history with insane records & achievements!,” commented a fan.

Jimin’s MUSE dropped in July 2024

The idol released his second individual studio album, MUSE, in July 2024. The album has seven tracks, including WHO:

Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook were recently discharged of their military responsibilities after serving their separate 18-month terms since joining in 2023. Both idols were discharged on June 11, 2025, following Kim Taehyung and Kim Namjoon's return from the military on June 10.

BTS' Jimin made his first surprise appearance at J-Hope's HOPE ON THE STAGE concert in Seoul on June 13, shortly after being discharged.

Subsequently, Jimin attended Seokjin’s concert, entitled RUNSEOKJIN EP. TOUR, on June 29, 2025. Jimin was joined by Jungkook and SUGA during the occasion.
