Obongjayar 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

London-based Nigerian artist Obongjayar is officially set to return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 as part of his Paradise Now & Forever tour. It follows the release of the deluxe edition of his beloved album, Paradise Now. The tour will be his first full-scale visit to the region.

The newly announced run has been set to kick off in Christchurch, New Zealand, before moving through Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Meredith, and Adelaide. This leg complements Obongjayar's European tour, which will wrap up in late 2025. The artist has also performed at global festivals this year and collaborated with acts like Little Simz and Fred again..

Obongjayar announced the upcoming tour via an official Instagram post, which read:

"AUSTRALIA IM COMING BACKKKKK 🇦🇺🇳🇿 I can’t wait to bring paradise down under! It’s been way too long! Pre-sale 3 Nov at 10 am local time Tickets on sale 5 Nov at 10 am local time"

Obongjayar, whose real name is Steven Umoh, moved to London at 18. He began his career by uploading tracks on SoundCloud in the mid-2010s. His debut EP was Home (2016). This was eventually followed by collaborations with Little Simz, Pa Salieu, and others.

In 2022, Obongjayar released his debut album Some Nights I Dream of Doors, which earned him an Ivor Novello Award. He followed it up with Paradise Now in 2025.
