Pile 2025 North American tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Boston-based band Pile is officially preparing to hit the road. The group has announced a North American tour for 2025 in support of their upcoming album "Sunshine and Balance Beams," which is set to release on August 15, 2025, via Sooper Records.

The tour features support from NNAMDÏ, co-founder of the same label. The trek is scheduled to begin on August 21, 2025, in Portland, Maine, and will wrap up with a hometown show in Boston on October 11, 2025.

The upcoming album is Pile's ninth full-length release and their first with Sooper Records. This new partnership began after a long journey with Exploding in Sound. It also follows their recent Hot Air Balloon EP and 2023's All Fiction.

Pile shared the trek announcement via their official Instagram page. The post read:

"Going on tour to support the new record and very excited to be doing the whole thing with @nnamdithegreat. And we have got a beautiful poster by @charliewagers. Presale tickets available now through the link in bio, code is SUNSHINE"

Consequence of Sound reports that in a statement about the upcoming album's opening single, "Born at Night," Pile singer Rick Maguire mentioned:

"The fulfillment I receive from pursuing art has been a guiding force for me. But it can be damaging when that pursuit subscribes to material expectations of where you might be able to go, and then doesn’t square with the reality that follows."
