Richard Marx 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Richard Marx is officially set to return to Australia in April 2026 for a national tour to celebrate his four decades of music. The five-city run will see him perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, and Melbourne.

The tour is being presented by TEG Dainty and TEG Van Egmond. It comes after his 2023 sold-out Australian shows. The 2026 Richard Marx tour is expected to include beloved tracks like Right Here Waiting, Hazard, Endless Summer Nights, and Hold On To The Nights, alongside his relatively newer material, such as All I Ever Needed and Magic Hour.

Richard Marx took to his official Instagram page to announce the upcoming 2026 run, captioning:

"Australia, I am coming back! I can’t wait to see you all again this April 2026. We’ll be celebrating four decades of music with the songs you know and love – “Right Here Waiting”, “Hazard”, “Endless Summer Nights” – plus brand-new songs like “Magic Hour” and “All I Ever Needed”. See you soon! @tegdainty"

Richard Marx recently talked about his early life in a Page Six interview. He mentioned:

"I was already dating the woman who would become my first wife ['Dirty Dancing' star Cynthia Rhodes] and we were together for almost 30 years. And then all of a sudden, overnight, I have a big video on MTV and now all these girls are throwing themselves at me. So I think it helped keep a level head on my shoulder and a pretty good relationship with that whole seduction of thinking that you are something you are not."

He also added:

"I still kind of look across the room at her, or look at her in the car next to me, and I kind of can’t believe it. I had a crush on her … You know, every once in a while, I just say to myself, I can’t believe I am married to Daisy Fuentes. It’s like crazy."

Presale and ticket info

Presale for Richard Marx's 2026 Australian tour will begin at 12 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. It will be followed by the general public on sale at 12 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025. (local time). Tickets will be available through TEG Dainty.
