Who was Robbie Pardlo?

Robbie Pardlo was the lead singer of the R&B trio City High. The group known for its popular Wyclef Jean-produced 2001 single What Would You Do? was formed in 1999 and was active until 2003 when the group decided to disband. Their hit song became the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, becoming an anthem for struggling single parents.

In an interview, Ryan Toby spoke about the reason for the group’s disbandment:

“We did a second album, it wasn't as good as the first album, it was a little rushed. There was some turmoil in the group; the vibe and chemistry were off. We decided to walk away.”
