Sam Hunt has welcomed his third child with his wife Hannah. Weyman Allen Hunt, Sam and Hannah’s third child was born on May 21, 2025. The baby boy joins the couple’s 3-year-old daughter Lucy Louise and 21-month-old son Lowry Lee.

The Body Like a Back Road hitmaker revealed on the Katie & Company podcast in November 2024 that he was expecting his third child and expressed excitement over the fact:

"It's about to get real. I'm elated, can't wait!"

Sam Hunt added that his daughter, who didn’t understand the situation of things was also excited:

"We talk about. I say, Mama has a baby on the way and we'll point to her belly and she says, 'No, I have a baby on the way,' "

The father of three, who began his Locked Up tour on June 28, 2025, and is set to conclude on September 27, 2025, also revealed during the podcast that he was planning to slow down touring to focus on his family:

"I'm hopefully — in the next couple years — going to take a break from touring," he said. "The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they're able to come with me...and while people are interested in coming to see us because I don't want to take that for granted."

“We got spoiled with the first two,” Sam Hunt says as he discusses how his family is adjusting to the third child

In an exclusive interview with Taste of Country, Sam Hunt revealed that Hannah and the kids were sleep-deprived as they cared for the latest addition to their family:

"They're good. A little sleep deprived. Our most recent child got here in May, so he's finally starting to sleep a little better. "

He stated that his two older children were much easier to handle than Weyman:

"We got spoiled with the first two — they were fairly easy — but Weyman, my third one, Weyman's his name, he likes to beat to his own drum, I guess you could say,"

In May 2025, Sam Hunt opened up about touring with his family in an interview with People. The singer stated that having his kids on tour was an enjoyable experience and it helped him maximize his time:

"Go to bed earlier, I get up earlier, it gives me a lot more to do during the day," he explained. "I go out and do things that I wouldn't necessarily — museums and parks and that sort of thing. I've gotten to really experience more of some of these places that I've been over the years several times."
