Sigur Rós 2025 North American tour: Presale info, dates, venues, and more explored

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós is officially set to conclude its orchestral tour with a final North American leg this November.

This is going to be the closing chapter of a global run that began in 2022 and has taken the band through multiple concert halls across Europe, Australia, and North America.

The North American tour will bring the band to Mexico, Canada, and the Western United States, with 12 dates scheduled throughout November 2025. These performances follow their European and UK tour in September and October 2025.

They will continue to support their 2023 album ÁTTA, which is the band's first new studio release in a decade. Notably, the tour coincides with the 20th anniversary celebration of Takk..., which was originally released in 2005.

Sigur Rós took to their official Instagram handle to share the North American leg announcement, captioning:

"Sigur Rós are pleased to announce that in November they will return to the US and Canada. These shows, along with their EU/UK dates in September and October, are the final leg of their unique world tour that sees them collaborating with local orchestras and conductor Robert Ames, bringing their latest album ÁTTA to life alongside favourites from their extensive catalogue, including songs from Takk…, the band's much loved album which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year."

Sigur Rós will be joined by the Wordless Music Orchestra for this final North American stretch. The setlists are expected to feature newer material with other fan favorites, including reworked versions of tracks like Andvari, which was recently released as a live orchestral recording.

Fans can register for presale access now through the official website of Sigur Rós. An artist presale is set to start on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time.

Additionally, it will be followed by a Ticketmaster presale on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time. On the other hand, general public tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time via the official band website and other authorized ticketing platforms.
