The singer's first song since 2023, the single comes when speculations are rife regarding a possible return to Glastonbury 2025 for one of its secret sets. The speculations have become particularly rife with the arrival of the new single.

The speculations surrounding the mysterious billboards found by fans in Glastonbury, as well as Castle Cary, with phone numbers. Calling the phone number leads to the message: "Hey, it’s TBA, thanks for signing up."

Fans went online to speculate regarding a possible set by Capaldi at the festival, as exemplified by the tweets below:

Since the speculation started, more news has arrived, with online sources showcasing possible confirmation of the singer's secret set at the Pyramid Stage on June 27, 2025, at 4:45 pm BST. The confirmation seems to be coming from a poster at the Glastonbury festival, showing the singer's face alongside the set time at Pyramid Stage:

As of the writing of this article, Glastonbury Festival has not confirmed or announced the set on its official social media or website. If the singer performs at the festival, as speculated, it will be his first new performance since 2023.

Speculation surrounding a possible Lewis Capaldi Glastonbury set started earlier this month on June 9, 2025, after it was revealed that one of the TBA slots at the festival was at the Pyramid Stage before the set by Alanis Morissette.

Lewis Capaldi has not toured since 2023 due to his struggles with Tourette's Syndrome. The singer announced a hiatus from touring following his struggles to finish his Glastonbury 2023 set.

The singer announced his break from touring on his Instagram page on June 27, 2023:

"The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write, but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.I used to be able to enjoy every second of shows like this and I'd hoped three weeks away would sort me out..."

The singer later added:

"But the truth is I'm still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette's and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order, so I can keep doing everything I love for a long time to come..."
