Spotify reveals its Songs of Summer 2025 list featuring Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, JENNIE, Alex Warren & more

Spotify has submitted its predictions for the hottest jams of Summer 2025, and the list includes some of music’s finest like Bad Bunny, JENNIE, Lady Gaga, and Alex Warren, amongst others. The music streaming platform shared its summer 2025 global songs curated by its global music editors on May 20, 2025:

"It’s officially summer on Spotify and, once again, our team of best-in-class global music editors is revealing Spotify’s Songs of Summer 2025 predictions for the Northern Hemisphere."

The streaming service revealed that the list curators considered streaming data amongst other factors to generate the Summer list, and they have proved correct on several occasions:

"With a proven track record of predicting the summer’s biggest songs, Spotify’s editorial team blends cultural expertise, editorial instinct, and streaming data to curate our annual Songs of Summer list—cementing Spotify as the ultimate destination for summer listening."

Spotify unveils the biggest trends shaping the Songs of Summer 2025

Spotify editors are predicting a global spread of Afro-fusion music. Some of the songs expected to dominate the airwaves include Show Me Love by WizTheMc, "bees & honey" and Tyla. "Show Me Love" blends Afrobeats, electronic, and R&B for a catchy rhythm.

Its counterpart YA BABA by DYSTINCT and French Montana, is a fusion of Moroccan Arabic with French. Lovestruck pop is predicted to dominate the airwaves this summer. Breakout songs like Ordinary by Alex Warren and Back to Friends by Sombr are sitting comfortably on the list.

Country collaborations may occupy top positions in 2025 chart predictions with Jams like Morgan Wallen ft Tate McRae's What I Want and BigXthaPlug and Bailey Zimmerman's All The Way.

High BPM rave songs to look out for include Running Around by Ely Oaks and Say My Name Remix by Morgan Seatree and Florence + the Machine.
