Steve Hackett 2026 Best Of Genesis & Solo Gems UK tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett has officially announced a new UK leg for October 2026. The Best of Genesis & Solo Gems tour will see Hackett perform highlights from his Genesis years between 1971 and 1977, alongside music from his solo career.

The announcement follows Steve Hackett's North American dates in late 2025, a run of Florida shows in early 2026, and a prog-rock cruise in March 2026. By the time October arrives, the guitarist and his band will be all set to deliver a series of 17 shows across England and Scotland. They will wrap up a return to London's Royal Albert Hall.

Steve Hackett announced the October 2026 leg via an official Instagram post, which read:

Speaking about the lineup changes of his band, Steve Hackett mentioned in a statement:

"The main thing is to keep a focus on the music which drives it all, but there will be some big changes in the band. Both Craig and Roger are amazing musicians, and I know Lalle Larsson and Felix will be equally fantastic. I have never worked with Lalle Larsson before but he is completely brilliant and more than qualified for the job involving recreating Genesis circa 1971 to '77."

Hackett also added:

"He is a total virtuoso. We have already been working with Felix Lehrmann, and listening to him with Jonas Reingold on bass is like a thousand iron girders coming at you at 100mph! I have some extraordinary performers in the band, and I'm very happy with this level of virtuosity. These guys are all incredible professionals."

In July 2026, Steve Hackett will take part in the Trading Boundaries Voyage with an acoustic set across Germany and Switzerland between July 18 and 25, 2026. Dates and locations are yet to be confirmed.
