Taylor Swift took to her social media accounts on Friday, September 19, 2025, to announce a theatrical event to promote her highly anticipated studio album, Life Of A Showgirl. The event, titled The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, is scheduled to run for three days: October 3 to October 5, 2025.
The “Blank Space” hitmaker shared a colorful graphic detailing the event. She captioned the post:

The Official Release Party of a Showgirl is a three-day theatrical event featuring the premiere of the first music video from Taylor Swift’s upcoming album.
The music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” will debut in theaters on October 3, coinciding with the release of her highly anticipated album.
Along with the music video for the single, the Official Release Party of a Showgirl will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the single's creation, detailed explanations of the song's inspirations, and additional lyric videos from the upcoming album.
According to an exclusive report from Variety, the event will premiere in all 540 AMC Theatres locations, this is in continuation of her ongoing partnership with AMC Theatres Distribution. In addition to AMC Theatres, the Official Release Party of a Showgirl will hit the screens of thousands of non AMC theatres including Cinemark and Regal theaters.
