The Darkness 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

British rock band The Darkness is officially returning to Australia and New Zealand in early 2026 with a run of 12 dates in support of their latest album, Dreams on Toast.

The newly announced run is set to kick off in Auckland on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and wrap up in Melbourne on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The tour is going to be the band's first full regional trek since their 2024 20th anniversary celebration of Permission to Land.

Fans can expect a mix of classic hits and new material from their eighth studio record, which was released in March 2025. The upcoming 2026 tour follows a string of European dates this year. The album was previewed through a stream of singles released between late 2024 and early 2025, including "The Longest Kiss," "Rock and Roll Party Cowboy," and "I Hate Myself."

The Darkness shared the trek announcement via their official Instagram handle. The post read:

The Darkness mainly rose to fame in the early 2000s with their chart-topping debut. Songs like "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and "Love Is Only a Feeling" became some of their most-beloved tracks. Over the years, the band has undergone internal shifts and hiatuses.

The Darkness have sold more than 1.5 million albums in the UK. Moreover, the band has multiple BRIT and Kerrang! Awards to its name.

Presale and ticket info

Tickets for the 2026 Australian leg of The Darkness' tour can be obtained through an early bird ticket access, which will begin on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM AEST. On the other hand, general public sales are set to begin on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM AEST. New Zealand fans can access their sales at 2:00 PM NZDT on the same dates. Tickets and more information will be available via SBM Presents.

No presale codes have been publicly confirmed. However, early access sign-ups are advised via The Darkness' official site and SBM Presents.
