TOPS 2025 global tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Montreal-based indie pop group TOPS is officially making a comeback in 2025 with their new album Bury the Key, which is scheduled to be released on August 22, 2025, via Ghostly International.

This release is their first full-length album in five years. Moreover, TOPS have also announced an international tour, which will kick off this fall. Shows have been planned across North America and Europe. The tour will take the band to over 30 cities, including stops in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Paris, and Berlin.

The 2025 tour has been designed to support Bury the Key, their first album since signing with Ghostly International.

Tickets for the newly announced TOPS tour went on sale on Wednesday, May 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time for most dates. Select shows open for purchase on Friday, May 30, 2025. No specific presale codes have been released as of yet.

The group's upcoming album features 12 tracks, including ICU2 and Chlorine. In a statement, TOPS member Jane Penny spoke about Chlorine:

"At one point I was caught in a cycle of going out to the bar hoping that I would cross paths with a certain person who was not good for me but who I felt irresistibly drawn to. I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, where it's very cold and I used to go to the pool a lot in the winter."

She also added:

"It's also where I first started going to bars to drink with my friends. I was thinking about alcohol and chlorine both being poison, thinking about all the people that I have tried to be close to that have ended up being bad for me, how I still love them all, and I wrote the song 'Chlorine.' We are always kind of seen as a soft band or like naive or friendly in a Canadian way, but we made it a challenge to really channel the world around us."
