On June 11, 2025, Jung Kook and Jimin joined four other members, j-hope, Jin, RM, and V, of the popular South Korean boy group BTS, who have completed their compulsory military service. With Suga set to be released on June 21, fans are excited about new music from the Dynamite crooners.

Although the music group hasn’t released official information, j-hope, Jung Ho-seok, who wrapped up his world tour on June 13, 2025, made an appearance on the popular variety show Omniscient Interfering View and hinted that the group had plans for a musical comeback.

While on the show, the Sweet Dreams hitmaker noted that all the members of BTS except Suga were back from military service and expressed his curiosity about the members getting to work together again after their time apart:

"I wonder if the synergy will work well. I also think we'll gather and talk about albums."

Ho-seok spoke about the group’s plans:

“We’re trying to get ready as soon as possible, and since BTS is performing. We’ll be preparing for the world tour, too.”

@BTS Charts Daily shared a clip of the multihyphenate entertainer from the variety show, and fans were excited, to say the least.

@dvdof1993 stated:

“Hearing them actually say it…..wow.”

@NikiWestad gushed about seeing the group on tour:

“Can’t wait for the world tour. Yaaay!!”

j-hope concluded Hope on the Stage tour in South Korea, and BTS members were in attendance

Ho-seok held the first leg of the final show of his Hope on the Stage world tour in South Korea, and some of his bandmates surprised fans on stage. He performed a medley of some of BTS’ biggest hits before announcing to a cheering audience:

"Other members are also here today."

The big screen showed members RM, V, Jimin, and Suga, who sent hearts to their fans. Hoseok explained to concertgoers the importance of that moment and built anticipation for the group’s upcoming shows:

"This is a special day for everyone. It’s the time when all the members are returning home after completing their military service. I believe there will be so much to show you. I will prepare diligently and to the best of my ability, so please look forward to it,"

BTS' Jin mounted the stage to perform Don’t Say You Love Me from his mini album Echo. He spoke to the crowd:

"Since it’s June 13th, which is our debut date, I felt I needed to be on stage and directly asked J-Hope to let me perform."

Jungkook, Jin, and j-hope later performed their collaborative song Jamais vu. j-hope wrapped up the show with a performance of hit songs NEURON and Future.
