More details on Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2
Sandler, who starred in the hit movie Happy Gilmore in 1996, is back for a second part. The movie stars Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, Bad Bunny, and Benny Safdie.
The first film followed the story of Happy Gilmore, who, by sheer force of will, tries to gather money to stop his grandmother’s house from being foreclosed. In the upcoming movie, Happy, a retired golfer returns to the tournament almost thirty years after his first win in a bid to raise money to pay for his daughter Vienna’s ballet school fees.
Adam Sandler, whose two daughters, Sadie, 19 and Sunny, 16, are expected to have acting roles in the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 movie, spoke about working with them in E! News:
“Oh, my god, you're just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent.”
He added:
"It must be like when you're the parents of a baseball player and you're at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank God.’ It’s just so much relief.”
The actor also noted that he was careful not to offer unsolicited advice to his girls about acting. The actor shared that his two daughters loved acting and while one was studying it while doing high school, the other has already studied it.
