Nine Inch Nails has officially kicked off their 2025 world tour. It is their first in three years. The debut show was held in Dublin, Ireland.
The performance was the opening night of their 'Peel It Back World Tour,' which will take the industrial rock act across Europe and North America throughout the summer of 2025. The tour kicked off at the 3Arena on June 15, 2025. Nine Inch Nails' last live performance was back in 2022.
Nine Inch Nails is led by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. They presented a four-act, 20-song set that featured some deep cuts, live collaborations, and multiple fan-favorite tracks.
The complete four-act set from Nine Inch Nails' 2025 tour kickoff
Nine Inch Nails' Dublin set was built around a multi-stage format. They shifted between a main stage and a relatively more intimate B-stage. The concert opened with three rarely performed tracks, including Right Where It Belongs, Ruiner (in an acoustic arrangement), and Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now). These songs reportedly had not been played live since 2009.
As the set progressed, Nine Inch Nails played multiple beloved cuts like March of the Pigs and Gave Up. Then, they brought tour opener and electronic producer Boys Noize on stage for a collaborative third act. Together, they performed Vessel, a live debut of How to Destroy Angels' Parasite.
The final act of the debut show of Nine Inch Nails' 'Peel It Back World Tour' mainly leaned into the band's arguably biggest hits, with renditions of Closer, The Hand That Feeds, and Head Like a Hole. They closed with Hurt and a cover of David Bowie's I'm Afraid of Americans.
