Wheatus 25th Anniversary 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Wheatus' self-titled debut album was released 25 years ago. The band is now officially set to kick off an AU and NZ run to celebrate the milestone. They will also kick off a world tour that will take the group across North America, Europe, and to Australia and New Zealand in early 2026.

The upcoming tour is the 25th anniversary of Wheatus. The album first brought the Long Island band to the public eye. Each night of the anniversary run, the group will perform the record in full, including Teenage Dirtbag, their cover of Erasure's A Little Respect, and Wannabe Gangstar/Leroy. Australia and New Zealand will see the tour in January 2026. It will be the band's first-ever live run in New Zealand.

Wheatus took to its official Instagram page to announce the upcoming AU/NZ trek, captioning:

"JUST ANNOUNCED! Wheatus are returning to Australia this January for our first full band headline shows in YEARS to celebrate 25 years of Teenage Dirtbag! And if that was not enough… we will also be doing our first EVER performances in New Zealand!"

The post continued:

Wheatus were formed in Northport, New York. The band is led by vocalist and guitarist Brendan B. Brown. Their breakthrough came in 2000 when Teenage Dirtbag was released. Recently, the track re-emerged as a viral trend on TikTok.
