When will Neko Case release her album 'Neon Grey Midnight Green'? All you need to know as she drops second single

Neko Case is officially preparing to close out 2025 and open 2026 with new music and an expanded tour.

The singer-songwriter and member of The New Pornographers is all set to release her upcoming solo album Neon Grey Midnight Green on September 26, 2025, via ANTI-. It is going to be her marking her first studio release since 2018's Hell-On. Alongside the announcement of a January 2026 tour extension, Neko Case has also shared "Winchester Mansion of Sound," the album's second single.

The new track was inspired by her late friend Dexter Romweber of the Flat Duo Jets. It was written two years before his passing in 2024. In her memoir The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You, Neko Case reflected on first hearing the Flat Duo Jets. She described the moment as unlocking "the way making music could become a physical manifestation of the blazing wild horse energy inside of her body."

Neon Grey Midnight Green is a 12-track record that Case self-produced primarily at her Carnassial Sound studio in Vermont with additional sessions in Denver and Portland. Neko Case took to her official Instagram page to announce the single stop, captioning:

"Winchester Mansion of Sound, the second single from Neko's forthcoming album 'Neon Grey Midnight Green' is out now! Listen, pre-order the album (out September 26), and find pre-sale tickets for Neko’s newly announced 2026 tour dates all at the link in bio."

The album arrives six years after Neko Case's last solo LP and two years after her compilation album Wild Creatures.

Complete list of dates and venues for Neko Case's 2025-26 tour

Neko Case will begin her tour for Neon Grey Midnight Green shortly after the album's release. She will start with a sold-out show at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, New York, on October 1, 2025. The fall 2025 Neko Case run includes stops in multiple U.S. and Canadian cities through late November 2025.

The newly announced 2026 Neko Case trek leg will kick off on January 8, 2026, in Montreal, Quebec, and run through January 31, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
