Founding Sepultura brothers Max and Igor Cavalera are bringing their beloved 1993 album Chaos A.D. back to the stage this fall. It started as a reunion with Fear Factory for a run of North American shows. It has now expanded into a multi-band metal showcase.
Cavalera has officially confirmed a lineup of openers for their 2025 "Return to Chaos" tour, including Byzantine, Genocide Pact, Prong, Thrown Into Exile, and Herakleion. The tour will kick off on September 18, 2025, at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, and wrap up on October 18, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
Fear Factory will serve as direct support on most dates. Select cities will also feature special guests, including Slayer, Lamb of God, and more.
Cavalera announced the lineup for their 2025 "Return to Chaos" tour via an official Instagram post, captioning:

Max and Igor Cavalera have spent the last few years revisiting Sepultura's early catalog, including re-recordings of Bestial Devastation and Schizophrenia, live performances of Arise and Beneath the Remains, and more extreme metal from the late '80s and early '90s.
Chaos A.D. was released in 1993. It was Sepultura's breakthrough into groove metal. Tracks like "Refuse/Resist," "Territory," and "Slave New World" received notable love from fans and enthusiasts.
