Popular Country singer Carly Pearce narrated an event that happened to her recently in a video shared on her official TikTok on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Carly Pearce and a ranch dressing bottle were the protagonists of the story.
In the TikTok video, Carly does her makeup with one hand as she narrates what happened between her and the ranch dressing bottle.
“So last night, I was getting ready to eat dinner after my show, and I went to open a bottle of ranch dressing that was a glass bottle. And when I went to open a bottle of ranch, it snapped off, and a piece of glass cut my thumb.”
According to Pearce, the injury wasn't taken seriously until she started bleeding profusely. The paramedics on her show then convinced her to go to the hospital for stitches.
“So we had a few paramedics on the show, so we decided just to have a look at it to see if it had any glass in it or if it needed to be cleaned. And they told me I needed a few stitches. And I said, ‘Are you sure?’ and they said, ‘We really do feel like it's pretty deep, so we're gonna take you over to the hospital.’”

While dabbing some makeup products on her face, Carly Pearce revealed that because of the cut, she had to ride in an ambulance, strapped to a stretcher, before reaching the hospital and examining her finger. After getting an X-ray, Carly was told she would need a couple of stitches, a process she found painful.
“Now I have not had stitches since I was a little girl, so I had forgotten that this little numbing situation is very painful.”
Carly Pearce complained about her inability to get things done properly because of the injury. And while she revealed the wound will be healed after a week, she advises her followers to be careful.
“So what’s interesting is I have two shows this weekend. I hold my microphone with my dominant hand, which is my right hand, which is this hand. Now I am so grateful that it was not worse and that obviously I'm going to be fine in, like, a week. But it is interesting trying to figure out how to do all of these normal things.”
“So the moral of the story is, be careful when you are opening things, she added.
