Laura Jane Grace has canceled all remaining 2025 tour dates following a series of public accusations from her wife, Paris Campbell Grace.
Laura Jane Grace posted a statement via her official Instagram handle. She confirmed that she would not be touring for the rest of the year, saying it would be "neither realistic nor in good taste" to continue in light of recent events. The decision came one week after the release of her latest solo album, Adventure Club.
The announcement has cut short what was expected to be an extensive North American tour featuring performances with bands like Murder By Death, Trapper Schoepp, and Team Nonexistent. Fans across the U.S. and Canada who were awaiting summer and fall tour stops will now need to wait until at least 2026 to potentially see Laura Jane Grace back on stage.
Laura Jane Grace's complete official statement on the 2025 tour cancellation
On July 17, Paris Campbell Grace, Laura's wife and a collaborator on Adventure Club, made a post on social media accusing Grace of emotional abuse. She described feeling unsafe in their shared home and accused Grace of using her public platform to emotionally harm her.
In her latest Instagram post announcing the tour's cancellation, Laura Jane Grace wrote:
"Unfortunately, it has become apparent to me that at this time continuing ahead with touring is neither realistic nor in good taste. I will be taking the rest of the year off from the road to work on myself and get my life in order. I would like to sincerely apologize to @murderbydeath for bringing such a foul energy around their farewell tour dates, they invited me to be a part of."
She continued:
"I would like to sincerely apologize to @trapperschoepp and @teamnonexistent for fuckin up the August run, and I hope to someday to have the chance to share the stage together. I would like to apologize to all the venues and promoters who had put in work setting up the shows and promoting the dates. I hope I get the chance to demonstrate in the future that this is not who I am or what I'm about."
Grace concluded the post, stating:
"There will be information about ticket refunds to follow shortly for anyone who was holding. I'd like to apologize to @blackarm_666 @thatpunkquilter, Mikey Erg and @kingmke It has been absolutely thrilling playing together and touring together and y'all don't deserve drama like this in your lives. You all are one hell of a rhythm section and one hell of a crew. Thank you and I'm sorry.
"And finally Id like to apologize to @polyvinylrecords for my personal life royally f--kin up this album release. I still think it’s a really good record and that people should give it a listen. Hope to see everyone back out there on the road in 2026."
Laura Jane Grace expressed regret for her role in the situation, calling her behavior "foul energy". She apologized to the artists impacted by the fallout. That included Murder By Death, whose farewell tour dates she had been supporting, and Trapper Schoepp and Team Nonexistent, who were scheduled to join her on the August 2025 leg of her headlining run.
