The official nomination list for the 2026 Grammy Awards is out, and some fans of Taylor Swift wonder why she has zero nominations despite releasing her successful album, The Life of a Showgirl, this year. The Life of a Showgirl was released on October 3, 2025, and its release date makes the Bad Blood hitmaker ineligible for consideration for the 2026 Grammy Awards.

The eligibility period of this year’s Grammy Awards ran from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. Projects released before or after these dates were not considered for nominations. Swifties can rest easy, Taylor Swift wasn't snubbed by the Recording Academy.
