“Women supporting women”: Fans cheer as Nicki Minaj listens to Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend in new Instagram story

Sabrina Carpenter dropped Man’s Best Friend on August 29, 2025; some of the music industry’s finest are already vibing to it. Nicki Minaj shared on her Instagram Story that she was listening to the Don’t Worry I’ll Make You Worry track and fans have found it wholesome.

Some hours before Man’s Best Friend dropped, Carpenter appeared at a promotional event, An Evening with Sabrina Carpenter and Spotify. The Espresso hitmaker described the album as a diary entry:

"When I started writing the rest of the album and there were some recurring themes, I thought, 'I think this all goes together in one place and it should be while I'm still this confused and young,'" Carpenter said. "So this album happened, and it feels like a diary entry."

After the release of the 12-track album, she was interviewed during CBS Mornings on Friday, August 29, 2025, and she spoke about how her former partners had been flattered when she included songs about them in her album:

“You know what’s funny … I feel pretty transparent going into any of my relationships that I write songs,” the Grammy winner explained. “And I think they’re just as down for it. I think also most of the time, they’ve been pretty flattered when they get a song written about them, good or bad.”
