The making of Linkin Park's From Zero artwork is not what people expected. The band released their latest album, From Zero, in November 2024 and dropped the deluxe edition in May 2025.
Alongside chart-topping tracks like "The Emptiness Machine" and "Heavy Is the Crown," what also caught fans' attention was the unique design of the album's logo. After the album announcement, many fans shared the From Zero visuals, appreciating the artwork.
Many even assumed the cover art was created digitally, given its sharp visual effects and polished look. However, Linkin Park has clarified that this is not the case.
On May 28, the band uploaded an Instagram post showing behind the scenes of the making of the album art with the caption,
"The cover art for From Zero and From Zero (Deluxe Edition) was not created digitally. LP logos were 3D printed and combined with paint, water, and light to achieve the images found on the cover and inside the album packaging."
Fans praise Linkin Park for their creativity and hands-on approach to the From Zero album art
Having more than ten million Instagram followers, the post by the band didn't take time to gain attention on the internet. Let's have a look at the fans' reactions.

"That's amazing and the results are awesome ! It's great to know that you choose to work with human and real artists who did fantastic works. AI will never be able to replace the true soul of art from humans, it's important to keep working with them ♥️," one more user, @florian_odl, shared.

"Beautiful is not enough to define the art of the álbum 🫶," another fan, @soldiersargentinos, wrote.
"I really like the way things are done in LP. This band is a gift 🎁," another user, @ibernoon, posted.
"Cmon, Mike is a legit illustrator, no question in that. There's no way they will use AI 🤦🏻♂️," one more user, @affanwinurrahman, praised Mike Shinoda.
The comments were full of love and support from the fans, who praised the band for using actual human art and avoiding artificial intelligence while creating the artwork. However, this is not the first time that the band decided to go with a handmade approach for their logos.
Linkin Park has also hand-designed their logo for the Hybrid Theory album in the past. The cover showed a soldier with dragonfly wings, which was illustrated by Mike Shinoda, mixing strong and soft images to match their music.
