"You've asked for features twice to no response": SZA reveals screenshots of Nicki Minaj allegedly asking collaboration amid ongoing feud

The clash between Nicki Minaj and SZA has taken a new twist with SZA calling out Nicki Minaj for allegedly asking for a collaboration.

On July 16, an X user, @kittylopher, posted a video from the Met Gala arrivals where SZA was seen admiring Rihanna and walking behind her. She captioned the video with:

"“Oou Rihanna where?” Rihanna ignoring SZA as she keeps walking 😭"

The video soon gained Nicki Minaj's attention, who replied through a tweet:

"lol. These be the fake girl’s girls who talk shit but will run u down for a photo or do shit like this on camera to pretend they’re not the hater they rlly are. I wonder what she was lying about to the interviewer. Man it’s so freeing to REALLY be yourself. #JusticeForDemoree"

While X users were already sharing their thoughts on Nicki’s words, SZA responded to the thread with a tweet of her own that read:

"Nicki . You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response . In addition to rapping my lyrics on feeling myself “Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo”? Lol ur having a moment ..im not sure why but be blessed."

The tweet also included a screenshot, which led to mixed reactions from fans across social media.

SZA’s screenshot, taken from iMessage, was dated July 28, 2020. In it, Nicki Minaj was seen introducing herself and asking SZA's manager how she was doing, after which she wrote:

"Is SZA recording right now? Got this hook I think she would be dope on."

After being told that SZA was working on her album and to send the track, Nicki replied:

"Ok I’ll just send the hook first. If she fuk wit it I’ll send the files to an email."

The screenshot revealed Nicki sending a 5.3 MB audio file titled "Dont Do (open vrses)." X (formerly Twitter) users appeared divided, with some taking SZA’s side, while others defended Nicki and questioned the timing and intent behind SZA sharing the screenshot.

A user, @_Jayyyy__, wrote,

Another user, @Desire_1516, added,

"Took u a whole day to come up with these fake messages"

One more user, @szasoomf, posted,
