GH Spinoff Planned For SOAPnet

At a time when the daytime audience is purportedly shrinking, the Disney-owned all soaps channel, SOAPnet, is developing a primetime spinoff of General Hospital. The show will not require any knowledge of the show's daytime counterpart and will air this summer.
