Andrea Evans lands role in independent film

Andrea Evans has kept busy since leaving One Life to Live last year. The actress, who returned to the show last year after nearly 20 years away, has landed a starring role in an upcoming independent feature film.

Andrea Evans (Tina Lord Roberts) has landed a starring role in the upcoming dark comedy independent feature, Hit List. In the movie, Evans will portray a former beauty queen who left the pageant world behind to become a trophy wife and mother. Her husband is portrayed by John Savage. Evans' daughter, the film's heroine, is played by Shirly Brener.

Evans' character soon learns that being a "trophy wife" isn't as easy as it sounds. She has her hands full with her family. Her son is seeking a career in rockn'roll and lives in the basemen and her daughter is quirky with a history of anger issues. Things seem to improve for the daughter when she gets into relationship with an independent contractor played by former Blossom and Gimme A Break star Joey Lawrence. But later her anger resurfaces when she suspects he may be a killer. Andrea is the peacemaker and the glue that holds the family together.

Hit List is produced and directed by Minh Collins with Elmer Ventura also serving as a producer. The script was written by Thompson Evans. Cinematographer Emile Haris shot the film at locations in and around Los Angeles.
