Adin Ross recently revealed in one of his streams that he gave DDG a helping hand by connecting him with his lawyers amid the rapper's ongoing legal troubles. In the clip that is going viral on social media, Ross can be seen defending DDG in his case against Halle Bailey, and advocating for legal action to be taken against girls if the allegations put forth by them are proven to be false.
Here's an excerpt from the clip:
"Jack, y'all know the truth? I put Dee Dee in a group chat with my lawyers. Man, my boy Daryl, man. You gotta make sure you know, he's a good dude. He's a good human being."
He then went on to add:
"And, you know, can I just tell you guys something really quick about something like that? There needs to be a clause in legal where if a girl, a woman, is trying to put allegations on a man and it gets caught in 4K, it's fake, the girl needs to do the time. Like why the f**k is this not a thing?"
This isn't the first time Adin Ross has gone out of his way to defend his fellow streamer either, he has publicly backed his friend in his legal battle with Halle Bailey. The public fallout from the case has been messy, with both parties throwing allegations against each other. In the wake of the restraining order he got, DDG has now hit back with allegations of his own against Halle Bailey.
In light of the recent developments in the case, Adin Ross seemed to be very pleased with the proceedings and took to social media to give fans the inside scoop.
Recent developments in the DDG-Halle Bailey case
The DDG-Halley Bailey case has taken another turn recently, as the streamer has now filed his own counterclaims in court. Earlier, Halle Bailey was granted a temporary restraining order against the streamer after she made claims of having suffered from various instances of abuse.
However, DDG has now hit back with counterclaims of his own. In his filing submitted to the court, the rapper maintains that he suffered from frequent incidents of aggression at Bailey’s hands. He also leveled several other arguments against Halle Bailey, including alleged threats of self-harm and stalking, and the alleged copy of the filing is now going viral on social media.
While making several allegations against Halle Bailey's behaviour, he has expressed concerns about Bailey’s mental health stability and has filed for a restraining order of his own. Even though this development could change the whole course of the case, it remains to be seen if these claims will be proven conclusively in the court of law. The next day scheduled for the case is June 24, 2025.
