Cardi B halts celebration of court win to honor late influencer Rolling Ray

On September 3, 2025, Cardi B was found not guilty by a Los Angeles jury in a civil assault trial case brought forth by security guard Emani Ellis. The rapper celebrated her victory by dancing to snippets from her upcoming album.

Amid her celebrations, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker paid tribute to late influencer Rolling Ray, real name Juan Raymond Harper, who passed away on September 3, 2025.

Cardi B described Ray as a “menace” who will be greatly missed:

"Rolling Ray was a menace lmaoo… but he changed soo much and became so positive. I know that soul made it to heaven…You will truly be missed BIG PURRRR!!!"

Zeus Network announced Rolling Ray’s death. They praised the influencer for not allowing his physical limitations to affect his personality and added:

"You were Unapologetically & Authentically your TRUEST Self. From your ZEUS Fam, we love, thank, & will miss you always!"

Rolling Ray gathered a massive following on Instagram and TikTok due to his humorous personality on shows like Divorce Court and Trolls. On Instagram, he branded himself as “the most famous boy inna wheelchair.”

He produced and starred in the reality television series Bobby I Love You, Purr.

Before starring in Bobby I Love You, Purr, Rolling Ray participated in some episodes of The Conversation with Lytes series. His costar Lytes wrote an emotional post on Instagram:

"Rest in Peace, the most famous boy in a wheelchair. We came together and showed the world how two different people from 2 separate paths in life can put hate aside and create magic."

Sazola Nay, mother of the late influencer, also shared news of his passing on Facebook, thanking everyone who had reached out to her:

"It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I let you know that my son Ray Ray iamrollingray has gone home to be with the Lord…I thank everyone who has called or texted. This is going to be a long road."

Rolling Ray had battled with several health complications in the past. In 2021, he underwent reconstructive surgery after suffering injuries from a fire accident. In 2022, he went into a coma after contracting COVID-19. In 2024, he was diagnosed with pneumonia and a blood infection and admitted to the hospital.


Rolling Ray’s cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
