Matthew and Renee Morrison celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 19, 2025. To commemorate their 11th anniversary, the couple shared a video collage detailing moments of their time together over the years in a joint Instagram post.
The video was accompanied by a lengthy caption in which the couple discussed the journey of their marriage.
“11 Years. A sacred number. A sacred love. This reel traces the timeline of our journey. One that began in magic, wild adventure, and innocence... rooted in devotion, and tested by storms we never could have imagined we'd face.”
Matthew and Renee revealed that they had almost separated when things got too harsh at one point in the marriage.
“The last three years challenged us in ways that shook the very bones of our marriage. We stood at the threshold of separation, staring into the unknown with broken hearts and open questions.”
They added:
“There were moments that felt like death. Grief, confusion, and pain so big we couldn't see how to move forward in romantic partnership.”

Matthew and Renee shared a touching post with their followers, celebrating eleven years of marriage. The couple revealed that their marriage of 11 years wasn't all bed of roses. There were challenges, and at one point, they even considered separation. However, the couple shared that they kept moving, communicating, and learning.
“But we kept moving. Learning. Healing. Communicating. With honour, respect, and a shared intention to infuse love into every hard truth and every choice we made, moment by moment.”
The added:
“Because death is a transformational part of love's evolution. It asks us to lay old versions of ourselves to rest, to mourn what was, and to begin again-with deeper truth and a more courageous kind of devotion.”
They spoke about the stage their love was in and how they now treat each other differently, holding their relationship together with “a new tenderness, devotion, and commitment than was ever possible before our rupture.”
They concluded the post with:
“We are so proud of our journey. For the foundation we built initially that held us through the fire. For the courage we showed in the rupture. For validating each other's own experiences. And for the beauty, the magic, and the romance, we now get to witness - as We Rise, Expand, and Deepen.”
Matthew and Renee had tied the knot at a private home on the island of Maui in October 2014.
