The internet didn't hold back from mocking Justin Bieber after the singer posted Hailey Bieber's photo on May 26. The photo was originally posted by Allure magazine to announce that her brand, Rhode, is launching at Sephora. In the photo, Hailey was seen wearing a beige sleeveless top. The high-neck top had silver pearl detailing.
The internet had a twisted reaction to his admiration post. Last week, after Hailey was featured on the cover of Vogue’s June edition, Justin shared the news on his Instagram.
The photo was followed by a long caption, where Justin Bieber wrote,
"Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even.."
Although the caption also contained an apology from Justin, many fans neither appreciated the anecdote nor the timing of it. Since it was one of Hailey's achievements, some fans claimed that Bieber made it all about himself, instead of honoring her accomplishment.
"I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection. So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken"
After the controversy, Justin edited the caption by replacing it with emoticons. However, by the time he edited it, the caption had already made headlines.
The internet reacts as Justin Bieber shows support for Hailey Bieber's brand.
While Justin Bieber's recent post about Hailey was meant to show support, he is being mocked online for his previous comments and actions. Let's take a look.

"Did you tell her she’d never be in Sephora?" a user, @diana.semc, commented.

"man got scared to put a caption this time," another user, @natalliaaroraa16, wrote.
"i Told Hails , you're not going to get it in Sephora but sadly was mistaken... "😂😂," one more user, @da3ri6di9, posted.
"aww she made it on sephora, sadly." another user, @abbytovarr, added.

"Let me guess, you also told her she wasn't going to make it?" a user, @dafne.cst, commented.
"Justin at home like: 'DAMN Sephora just letting anyone sell their products with them', another user, @emorybologna25, wrote.
"it is too late now to say sorry!!!" one more user, @_isiespinoza, posted.
The internet had a fun time teasing and roasting the singer. Many users pointed out Justin’s past doubts about Hailey appearing on the Vogue cover and compared those comments to his recent post.
Justin Bieber also made headlines recently for writing I love you on Ariana Greenblatt’s post and kissing SZA’s hand during their performance in front of Hailey.
