Diddy’s attorney Mark Geragos has high hopes for the rapper’s next chapter. In a recent talk with TMZ, when asked about Diddy's future, Geragos said:

"I have the utmost confidence in Sean. I think Esean will make a comeback the likes of which people are not expecting."

He continued:

"I've watched him over. I've known him for a long time. I've the utmost confidence in him."

Geragos praised Diddy as an icon in multiple ways, expressing confidence that the rapper will stage a successful comeback. When asked if he might lose fans along the way, the attorney said it’s part of character to bounce back stronger after setbacks.

Diddy is behind bars with a 50-month sentence.

Diddy’s team requests a low-security prison

Earlier this month, Combs’s attorney, Teny Geragos, also asked the judge to have him placed at FCI Fort Dix, a men’s federal prison in New Jersey with a low-security level. The statement, reported by People, read:

"In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the court strong recommend to the Bureau of Prison that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix"

Another report by TMZ claimed that as per their sources, President Donald Trump is planning to commute Sean, a way to reduce his sentence or change it to a lighter one. However, the White House soon disregarded the claims. On the other hand, TMZ still stands with their story, calling it accurate.

Speaking of the story, Mark Gergos told TMZ:

"I think your story was accurate. I'll leave it at that. I have no idea about timing. I know is everything I read in that article looked accurate."

Attorney Tony Buzbee also uploaded an Instagram post related to the same with the caption:

"Diddy ain’t getting a pardon. But he is getting lots of civil trials. Lots of them. And they can’t come soon enough."

In August, Donald Trump was asked by Newsmax about Sean Combs and whether he plans to pardon him. Replying to the statement, he said:

"I got along with him great. Seemed like a nice guy. I didn't know him well. But when I ran for office, he was very hostile."

He continued:

"We're human beings. We don't like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine, and then you run for office, and he made some terrible statements. So, I don't know. It's more difficult. Makes it more, I'm being honest, makes it more difficult to do."
