Capricorn Clark took the witness stand as the seventeenth person to testify at the highly followed trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Clark told the court about her time as Diddy’s personal assistant and her relationship with her boss.
Sean Combs’ trial continued on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, after a short break following last Thursday’s testimonies, held ahead of the Memorial Day holiday. As of last week, sixteen people had testified at Diddy’s trial.
Capricorn Clark, a former assistant to Combs and a former marketing executive for his clothing brand Sean John, clarified her relationship with her previous boss. She claimed that the only relationship she had with Sean Combs was that of employer and employee. She stated that she met the Bad Boy Records founder in 2002 through a mutual friend and that their relationship was “1000%” platonic.

Capricorn Clark began her testimony by sharing what happened immediately after she started working for the rapper. She testified that Diddy threatened her on her first day as his PA after learning that she once worked for Suge Knight, the founder of Death Row Records and Sean Combs’ long-time rival.
Clark stated that Sean Combs had taken her to Central Park with his bodyguard around 9:00 p.m. ET, where he threatened her.
“He told me that he didn’t know that I had anything to do with Suge Knight, and if anything happened, he would have to kill me,” Capricorn told the courtroom, as reported by CNN.
She added that she didn’t know how to convince him she could be trusted, so she replied, “We’ll just have to see.”

Capricorn Clark also testified that her movements were restricted while she worked with Combs. She cited an example from the summer of 2006 when they visited his Miami house. She revealed that he told her not to leave the house for any reason:
“I don't care what goes on this weekend; you are not to leave this house,” she told the courtroom, as reported by CNN.
Clark claimed her time and movements were monitored and that she had no freedom whatsoever.
She also testified about several other experiences with the rapper. She recalled hearing him discuss guns in an elevator and described a time when she was accused of stealing Combs’ jewelry and had to undergo multiple lie detector tests.
Capricorn revealed that the unhealthy working hours she endured led to stress-induced alopecia. She testified that, at the time, she was earning $65,000 annually.
Capricorn Clark is the third PA of Sean Combs to testify at his trial. Her testimony follows those of former assistants David James and George Kaplan, who testified on May 20 and May 21, respectively.
