Key highlights of day 14 of Diddy's trial

On day 14 of the trial, the court heard testimony from Mia, a former assistant of Combs. Previously, Mia had alleged in court that she was s*xually assaulted by Combs on multiple occasions. She had also described that the working conditions were toxic and that she had feared for her safety, as per People.

On Monday, Mia was cross-examined, during which she revealed why she didn't contact authorities or report the abuse she endured. She said that Combs' human resources would punish her unjustly if she had reported to them. She also said she feared being fired or portrayed as a woman who is making things up, as per CNN.

She testified about how promoting Diddy's positive image on social media platforms was a part of her job, and if she had said anything negative, she would be in trouble. She told the court that if Combs felt like she wasn't doing her job, she would be screamed at, humiliated, and threatened. She added that wishing Combs on his birthday was also a part of her job.

Mia also mentioned that she feared for her safety. She said that whenever she would try to leave her job, Combs' chief of staff would ask her to go back to work. Other than her, Sylvia Oken, a custodian at the Beverly Hills Hotel, also testified in the court.

He told the court about Combs' hotel room charges. He said that the rooms were booked under an alias. He mentioned charges with included $500 for oil damage, and $300 for cleaning drapes. The testimony on these charges potentially corroborates allegations of misconduct that happened during those days, as per the Washington Post.

The court is expected to hear more testimonies in the coming days, and the trial will continue until July. Sean Combs is facing multiple federal felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy, transportation for prostitution, and s*x trafficking. If convicted on these charges, he will face life imprisonment.
