President Donald Trump took another jab at Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel while answering the questions being asked at the Oval Office, White House. When asked about the entertainment industry, Donald Trump said:

"Colbert has no talent, and I could take anybody here; I could go outside in the beautiful streets and pick up a couple of people that do just as well or better. They get higher ratings than he did. He has got no talent."

Speaking of Fallon and Kimmel, he said:

"Fallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent. They're next. They're gonna be going. I hear they are gonna be going. I don't know, but I would have imagined because Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon."

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has a rating of 7.1 on IMDb, while Jimmy Kimmel Live! has a rating of 6.4, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has a rating of 7 on IMDb as of August 2025.

Donald Trump rejects blame for Stephen Colbert show’s cancellation

Last week, Trump uploaded a lengthy post on his Truth Social, clarifying that he was not responsible for the cancellation of Colbert's show. Responding to the claims, he wrote:

"That is not true! The reason he was fired was a pure lack of TALENT, and the fact that this deficiency was costing CBS $50 Million Dollars a year in losses — And it was only going to get WORSE!"

Donald Trump also mentioned Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel in the post, calling them talentless. Continuing his post, he wrote:

"The only real question is, who will go first? Show Biz and Television is a very simple business. If you get Ratings, you can say or do anything. If you don’t, you always become a victim. Colbert became a victim to himself, the other two will follow."

The screenshot of the post was shared by Kimmel on his Instagram, with the caption:

"I know you’re busy Sharpie-ing the Epstein files, but this seems like a weird way to tell people to watch Matt Damon and Ken Jennings on an all-new Who Wants to Be a Millionaire tomorrow night at 8|7c on @ABC"

As of now, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert have not responded to Donald Trump’s latest remarks from the White House on social media.

According to Colbert, The Late Show will come to an end in May 2026. He will be seen next in Elsbeth as an actor and is also producing The Chronicles of Amber.
