Following his anti-Trump comments, a video of Bruce Springsteen tripping and falling while entering a stage has gone viral. On various social media sites, including Facebook and X, this video has been reshared numerous times.

Many internet users have linked the video to his criticism of Donald Trump that he notably voiced during his recent live concert in the U.K.

On May 16, 2025, a user shared an X post with the following caption:

"Bruce Springsteen fell like Joe Biden."

Meanwhile, a Facebook post appeared with the following caption:

"Stand for something or fall for everything."

However, it should be made clear that the timeline is deceptive, even though the video of Bruce Springsteen falling looks authentic. Since the video first appeared on social media in May 2023, the incident took place during that time.

The same clip of Bruce falling appeared in several videos from 2023. He suffered the fall while playing at a concert in Amsterdam. Before long, the other E Street Band members could be seen hurrying to assist Bruce in standing up.

Therefore, the musician's recent comments regarding Donald Trump cannot be connected to his tripping and falling. Many people also commented on the viral video, claiming that his "karma" was the reason he fell. Regarding the same, one X user posted the following comment:

"Karma. "

In response to Bruce's criticism of Trump, a number of posts that seem to be false have gone viral on social media.

Social media has recently seen a number of posts of this kind, ranging from fabricated 'news' about Billy Joel canceling his summer tour with Bruce Springsteen to rumors that he was jeered during a performance in Atlanta.

Bruce Springsteen made anti-Trump comments during his latest live performance

Bruce Springsteen made certain anti-Trump remarks while speaking to his audience during a performance in Manchester on May 14, 2025, which sparked the recent conflict between him and President Donald Trump. Ultimately, Bruce referred to Trump's administration as a "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration."

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump, on May 19, 2025, posted on Truth Social:

"THIS IS AN ILLEGAL ELECTION SCAM AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL! IT IS AN ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION! BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, OPRAH, BONO AND, PERHAPS, MANY OTHERS, HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!!!"

Bruce Springsteen has now published EP with 'anti-Trump content'

Bruce published a digital EP with purportedly anti-Trump content on May 21. Four tracks and two recordings of his Manchester addresses were included in the EP, Land of Hope and Dreams. The recordings included in the EP had the following titles:

  • Land of Hope & Dreams EP
  • Land of Hope and Dreams (Introduction)
  • Land of Hope and Dreams (Live)
  • Long Walk Home (Live)
  • My City of Ruins (Introduction)
  • My City of Ruins (Live)
  • Chimes of Freedom (Live)

The EP was released on streaming services on Wednesday morning. Trump also shared a humorous video on his Truth social media account on May 21. Trump was seen in the video swinging on the golf course and the ball, after a sharp cut in the scene, strikes Bruce Springsteen in the back, causing him to fall on stage.

The video was naturally a big hit online, owing to its cheeky nature. Nonetheless, it can be inferred that the musician's fall video was actually captured in May 2023.
