Father's details under wraps as Amber Heard announces the birth of twins

Amber Heard revealed that she recently welcomed twins, daughter Agnes and son Ocean. The announcement was made on an Instagram post where the thirty-nine-year-old wrote,

"Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full. When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!"

The caption further read,

"Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully."

The announcement came on Mother’s Day, where Amber encouraged women to celebrate motherhood. Although her Instagram comments remain disabled following the Depp v. Heard case, the news of her twins was widely covered by media outlets.

Amber Heard has kept the details of her children’s fathers private. After the birth of her first daughter, Oonagh, she shared that she chose to become a mother on her own terms by writing,

"A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business."

Amber Heard was previously married to actor Johnny Depp for two years before their divorce in 2017. Following her divorce, she was in a relationship with Elon Musk. The actress is reportedly single at the moment and is focusing on motherhood.

"He was really nice. He sat at a nearby table and we got to speaking that night and eventually became friends."

After many speculations about their dating, Heard confirmed the relationship a year after the Met Gala in an Instagram post where she was sitting next to Elon with her hands on his shoulder. Fans were quick to spot the kiss mark on Musk's cheeks, confirming their relationship.

The same year, the couple broke up, and Elon told Rolling Stone that he was heartbroken and still had feelings for Amber. In December, they were having dinner in Chile, but sources said they were just friends. They briefly reconciled later that year but reportedly split in February 2018.
