HasanAbi accuses mainstream media of "actively laundering" Joe Biden’s reputation after cancer diagnosis

Hasan Piker (HasanAbi), known for his political commentary, took to his X channel on May 19 following the news of former president Joe Biden's prostate cancer diagnosis. Piker describes himself as the "politics guy" and has garnered close to 3 million followers on the streaming channel, Twitch.

Piker (@hasanthehun) slammed MSM and alleged that they are

"actively laundering the reputation of a war criminal."

The streamer has previously articulated his Pro-Palestian views on his social media channel. He claimed that Biden,

"oversaw the genocide of palestinians who's selfish nature allowed trump to win a second term."

He lashed out and alleged:

"Joe biden is an awful monster. prostate cancer doesnt change that."

Internet personality HasanAbi comments after Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis

Turkish-American streamer HasanAbi has reportedly accused mainstream media of "actively laundering" Biden's reputation. His comments came soon after it was revealed Biden's prostate cancer has aggressively spread to his "bones." The official statement shared by news outlets revealed he was diagnosed on May 16 after he was admitted for checking "urinary symptoms." The statement added that the cancer is "hormone sensitive" which allows for "hormone management."

Piker, however, slammed media outlets and claimed that his cancer diagnosis doesn't change other political actions. He also took to his social media and posted a picture of a news report, and added a comment,

"HOPE THIS DOESNT RUIN HIS 2028 RUN?"

He has previously spoken of reasons to not endorse Joe Biden's campaign in 2024. He spoke to The Wired in 2024 and noted that he is unsure if he would vote, but spoke in support of the Voting Uncommitted campaign.

Piker's comments come after he recently took to his social media that he had been stopped at the US Custom and Border Protection upon his re-entry to the US. He described it as "very strange" and claimed that he was asked about his political affiliations. He revealed,

"Got stopped by CBP for additional questioning. They asked me abt my job (they knew already), Trump, Israel, Houthis, Hamas. Even Twitch bans. Out now."

Twitch streamer and Internet personality Hasan Piker slammed the mainstream media and alleged that they are "actively laundering" former president, Joe Biden's reputation. HasanAbi has actively commented on ongoing political tensions, including voices his Pro-Palestian views.
