A few weeks ago, James Argent was arrested by the police for allegedly pushing his girlfriend, Nicoline Artursson, down the stairs in her apartment at La Cala de Mijas on the Costa del Sol. This incident was recorded on May 5, 2025, and The Only Way Is Essex actor was arrested on the same day. He was also handed a six-month suspended sentence and a two-year restraining order from the court.

After this incident, Argent left for the UK, and his ex-girlfriend stayed back in Spain. Argent is making headlines again for seemingly enjoying himself at London’s Connaught Rooms on Friday. He was singing and performing at the knife crime charity’s boxing event.

Mutuals who knew both James Argent and Nicoline Artursson had a few things to say about the actor who "attacked" his ex-girlfriend a few days ago. This is what they had to say:

"James should be ashamed of himself... He is acting like nothing happened and seems to be trying to brush over this. What he did was serious... People who knew them as a couple were so shocked by what had happened but now to see James smiling and playing up to the cameras."

They also added:

"It feels shameless."

More details about James Argent's whereabouts after receiving a suspended sentence

James Argent not only received a six-month suspended sentence and a restraining order, but he was also told to attend a rehabilitation course on gender violence.

An insider source reveals that Argent wants to see Artursson despite the two-year restraining order. In their words:

"He is in bits, just wants to hide from everyone, but he also is desperate to talk to Nicoline."

Regarding the workshop, Gregorio Gomez Mata, who runs similar programs in Spain’s Prison Service, spoke to The Sun and said:

"My message to Mr Argent would be to take advantage of this course... His life will be better if he understands he has to change and so will the lives of any women he has relationships with in the future... We don’t arrange meetings between offenders and domestic violence victims, but the men who take part in our workshops do listen to the testimonies of women who have been assaulted by their partners."

James Argent's actions have everyone talking about him, including fans and friends. They have pointed out his public appearances after the "attack" on his former girlfriend, some even calling him "shameless". However, insider sources reveal that Argent is sorry for his actions and wishes to see Nicoline.
