How are celebrities reacting to Bobby Sherman's death at 81? Tributes pour in

Robert Cabot Sherman Jr., who was popularly known as Bobby Sherman, passed away on June 24, 2025, at 81 years old. The late singer rose to fame during his teenage years, which were during the late 60s and 70s. Sherman was widely known for his song Little Woman, which was released in 1969. Despite his initial fame during his younger years, Bobby Sherman left the industry to become a paramedic as well as a deputy sheriff.

Bobby was also an actor who was known for his role in the American comedy series, Here Comes the Bride. He played the role of Jeremy Bolt. Sherman also played a few roles in other shows such as Honey West, The Monkees, and more.

Sherman's death did not come as a shock to many because his wife, Brigitte Poublon, gave his fans and followers a health update about his diagnosis a few months before Bobby passed. Tributes pour in after Bobby Sherman's passing

John Stamos, who is connected to the couple as the ambassador for their charity. He posted on social media to express his love for Bobby in a lengthy Instagram caption, a dedication from Stamos and Sherman's wife. Stamos started:

"From one ex teen idol, to another - rest in peace Bobby Sherman."

Brigitte Poublon, who is Bobby Sherman's wife of 29 years, shared a heartfelt statement for her late husband through John Stamos' Instagram account. She compared their love to a fairytale, Poublon said:

"Bobby left this world holding my hand - just as he held up our life with love, courage, and unwavering grace through all 29 beautiful years of marriage... I was his Cinderella, and he was my prince charming. Even in his final days, he stayed strong for me. That’s who Bobby was - brave, gentle, and full of light."

She added:

"As he rested, I read him fan letters from all over the world—words of love and gratitude that lifted his spirits and reminded him of how deeply he was cherished. He soaked up every word with that familiar sparkle in his eye. And yes, he still found time to crack well-timed jokes—Bobby had a wonderful, wicked sense of humor. It never left him. He could light up a room with a look, a quip, or one of his classic, one-liners."

While Jamie Lee Curtis did not write any tribute, she reshared John Stamos' post.

A close friend of Sherman, Ann Moses, who was an editor of Tiger Beat, wrote:

"It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news, Bobby Sherman died today at age 81. I was just preparing a post to celebrate his 82nd birthday on July 22nd! May he rest in eternal peace. Peace and Love to you Bobby."

Bill Mumy, who worked with Sherman on screen, as well as with music, posted an old photo of the two and captioned it:

"R.I.P. Bobby Sherman. He was a very good guy. 🙏🏻✌️❤️"

American actress Erin Murphy also wrote a tribute to Bobby. She said:

"Rest in Peace, Bobby Sherman. 💔 I definitely had a crush on him when I was a little girl. Met him many times over the years. He was extremely kind & handsome!"

Ryan Cassidy, the youngest of the Cassidy brothers, took to Instagram to post a photo of himself and Bobby. He wrote:

"Rest in Peace Bobby. Thank you for all the many contributions you so selflessly gave through out the course of your life."

Bobby Sherman's passing marked the end of a life filled with music and heartfelt connections. However, the legacy that he has left behind remains unforgotten, as seen from the tributes poured in from his family, friends, and colleagues.
